It's been awhile my friends.
A year to be exact. Time really does
fly. Hm, someone should talk to someone
about that. Well, a lot has happened in a year.
Some good things. Some bad things.
I'm back though. (:

MONDAY JUNE 28; Jordana is hosting a Breakfast at Broussard's. So head on down for some delicious food and great gossip.

I squeezed my eyes tighter, trying to block the sunlight from coming in. I groaned, taking the pillow from underneath my head, smothering myself with it. I had a major headache. I couldnt believe the I did that. Me, Taylor Kern. The one who never did anything wrong or even did that kind of things.
 
I tossed the pillow to the side, sitting up. I run my fingers through my knotty hair. I through my sheets off of me, putting my legs in front. I stood up from my bed, but only to to find myself jumping back down.
 
"Oh my god!" I said loudly.
 
Jack opened his eyes, sitting up quickly. "What?" he asked in a groggy voice.
 
"Did you seriously spend the whole night sleeping on my floor?"
 
He rubbed his eyes, "Yes, I did."
 
"You didnt have to." I told him.
 
"I kind of did." he replied. "You were beyond wasted. I couldnt leave you like that. Im a nice guy."
 
I couldnt help but smile, "Thanks." We sat there, in utter silence until I blurtted out, "We didnt have sex, did we?" It was a stupid question.
 
He laughed slightly, "I wasnt about to take advantage of a wasted girl."
 
I glanced over at my clock, "Oh crap." I slip off my bed, stepping over Jack.
 
"Whats the matter?" he asked.
 
"Im late." I replied.
 
"For what?"
 
"Jordana is hosting breakfast at Broussard's." I explained.
 
"Skip it." he said casually. "You probably feel like your dying. I could whip us some waffles make a pot of coffee and maybe get you a few asprins."
 
"Tempting as that is, I cant. Im sorry." I rushed over to my closet, trying to find something to wear. I pulled something out, then rushed to the bathroom.

I opened the door, walking into Broussard's. I took my sunglasses off, setting them ontop of my hair.
 
"Taylor, come sit with us." I heard Wanda call to me.
 
I walked over to their booth, sliding in.
 
"You dont look so good." Quinn said.
 
"I dont feel like it either." I replied.
 
"Here." Wanda slid a menu to me. "Order something."

SUNDAY JUNE 27; We're heading down to Bourben Street to drink our worries away. Just be sure you have a designated driver handy, we don't want you driving after what we're going to do tonight.

I walked down Bourben Street alone trying to find a decent bar that wasnt crowded. I didnt know why I had come tonight. I dont even drink. The only drink of alcohol i've ever had was a sip of wine at my first holy communion. Even then I wanted to spit out the nasty liqiud that everyone loved so dear.
 
I eventually found a bar. I took a seat at the bar, ordering a girly alcohol drink for a starter, even thought I woudnt even finish it. I'd probably take a sip and push it away. As always.
 
"Come on. You need a more masculine drink than that." I heard a firmilar voice say.
 
"Is that right?" I asked.
 
Jack nodded, "Then why dont you sit down and order me a more masculine drink." I replied casually.
 
"Alright." he quickly took my friendly requst, sitting next to me. "Can I get two beers." he said to the bartender.
 
The bartender filled two glasses, then set them in front of us.
 
"Drink up." Jack said to me. Lifting his glass. I didnt want to tell Jack, of all people, that i've never had alcohol before. I went along with him, lifting my glass too, I closed my eyes, letting the smooth gold liquid in.
 
After 3 beers, 2 shots, I was completly wasted.
 
I slammed the small shot glass down. "Your a terrible person."
 
"Why is that?" Jask asked curious.
 
"For getting a good Christian girl wasted." I told him.
 
"Sorry guys, but were closing up." the bartender said.
 
Jack put some more money on the table. I stood up, almost falling back down.
 
Jack hurried and caught me before anything could happen.
 
"Im okay." I said. I started to walk, my legs wobbily.
 
Jsck swopped me up into his arms.
 
"What are you doing? Put me down." I ordered.
 
"Im taking you home. Your in no condition to walk home alone." he said.
 
I wrapped my arms around him.

I ran my fingers through my hair, watching it fall back into place. At this moment, I was quite happy. Stefan and I were going to be spending the day together along with Elena. Which was always usual. I was never a minute without Stefan, and he was never a minute without Elena.
 
As the days went on, I started to have these sort of feelings towards Stefan. Which was strange, I'd never had them before. As he was getting more serious with Elena, I was falling for him more and more.
 
But, I had to control these feelings. Elena, she wasnt a best friend, more of a close acquaintance. I couldnt possible admit my feelings and hurt her or even Stefan.
 
"Are you ready?" Stefan asked, leaning agianst my door.
 
"Mhm." I replied. I grabbed my purse of the dresser, and skipped towards Stefan.

WEDNESDSAY JUNE 23; For those of us who made it through our rough day at work, we're heading down to Merlotte's tonight. Get acquainted with the other girls and make some new friends. Maybe you'll even meet a new man. Whatever happens, you know you'll be in for a good time.

I lightly pressed the lock button on my keys, my car lights flashing twice. I glanced at my reflection once more in the rear view mirror, then made my way to Merlotte's.
 
I reached for the handle, when a local's hand beat mine to it. "Ladies first." he smiled.
 
"Thank you." I smiled back at him, then took a step into Merlotte's. When I walked in, the loud chatter from everyone hit me. It was busy tonight, just like every other night. I tried to find an table, but the house was filled. Luckly, after a few moments scoworing the place, I found a table in the back by a window.
 
"Hey Taylor." Sookie appeared at my table, smiling at me.
 
"Hi Sookie." I replied. " Big crowd tonight."
 
She looked around and laughed, "Yeah, you can say that agian. So, what do you want to drink?"
 
"I'll just have a water." I said.
 
She put a menu infront of me, "I'll be back with your water and to take your order." she walked off to another table of customors.
 
I flipped opened the menu, looking down the list what was served at Merlotte's. After a while staring at the names of food, I snapped the menu shut, deciding on a burger and fries and some apple pie for desert.
 
"What will it be?" Sookie set down my glass of water on the table, then pulled her order book from her apron and a pen behind her ear.
 
"Burger and fries. Then apple pie for desert." I told her what I wanted.
 
She wrote it down, walking to the back.
 
I sat there by myself, looking at my chipping nail polish, until he walked in. I turned my head to focus on the outside, which didnt really work. I had to peek at him out of the corner of my eye. He was walking this way, towards me. I had to look natural.
 
"Do you mind if I sit here?" Jack asked, standing above me. "All the other tables are occupied."
 
"Not at all." I smiled.
 
"Thanks." he said, sliding in the booth across from me.
